GOLDEN HORSESHOE ROUTE

Starting at one of our oldest venues at Manor Farm near Stevenage the route connects all 9 groups in Hertfordshire finishing at our newest group at Brook Cottage Farm, Furneux Pelham. Volunteers and participants will walk, ride and drive the route this summer raising awareness of the work we do and the amazing benefits that our horses and ponies give to those with all types of disability.

REAL ROUTE

VIRTUAL ROUTE

Our riders, drivers and vaulters as well as our volunteers who walk alongside in our RDA sessions can all take part in the Horseshoe Route event.
A pedometer, fitbit or phone app can be used to measure the total mileage covered in normal sessions during the summer so that an individual or group can calculate how far around the horseshoe they would have ridden or driven.
Goals can be set and there will be special Golden Horseshoe certificates for all those who take part.

THE HORSESHOE ROUTE

The route stays off road as much as possible and instead makes use of the many long distance footpaths and bridleways which criss cross Hertfordshire.
